It’s time to kick off 2024 with the RAWV’s January Meeting!!!! If you have not already done so, you must complete the RAWV Member Form and submit the dues payment. Active Member Dues are $40 for single, $70 per couple and Associate Dues are $25.00 for single and $40.00 per couple. The forms will be available at the meeting, and you must submit payment in cash or check. If you do not renew by the end of January, you will no longer be a member of the RAWV and NFRA!!!
This months’ guest speaker is Brittany Perkins. Brittany is the wife of Michael Perkins who is a J6 political prisoner and currently serving a four-year prison sentence. She has quite a story to tell about their J6 experiences, and regardless of political affiliation, everyone needs to hear her story!!!
The charity of the month is a bit complicated. There are several J6 charities currently working to help the J6 prisoners and their families. At the meeting, Brittany can help narrow the choices down a bit, and you can decide which one(s) you would like to donate to.
This months’ meal option is Chik-Filet-A. The order cost is $15.00, cash or check only and includes a sandwich, chips and a cookie. We will provide water, unsweet and sweet tea. To place an order, you must contact Mary Nighswonger at mary.finedesign@gmail.com or text 407-808-2215, and let her know how many orders you need. There are no variations to the meal option. We are trying to keep it simple. Please, remember “an order made is an order paid”. If you can’t make the meeting, you will still be charged for the meal.
A friendly reminder, do not call the RAWV cellphone or place an order with the RAWV Gmail account, and do not assume there will be extra meals available at the meeting.
2024 is going to be a busy political year!!! So, please join us on January 16th at the Sanborn Event Center, 815 S. Alabama Ave. DeLand, Fl. 32724. Social time is 5:30 pm and the meeting starts at 6pm. We hope to see you there, and remember, everyone is welcome to attend the RAWV Meeting!!!
